Overnight crash claims one life

MINA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An overnight crash claimed one life on I-86 East, in Mina. Investigators say icy conditions caused a small box delivery truck to rear end a tractor trailer, at 3:05 a.m.
The driver of the box truck, 63-year-old Milton Pertl of Girard, PA, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name has not been released.

The crash closed an 8.2-mile stretch of I-86 East, from Exit 4, for Findley Lake to Exit 6, for Sherman. The roadway remained closed until 9:30 a.m.
