SHERIDAN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Emergency crews extricated a driver, after a crash in the Town of Sheridan. The one-car crash happened on Route 5 just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says 59-year-old David Kent attempted to navigate a curve, when he lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle struck a tree. According to reports from people in the area, the roads are very slippery in Sheridan Thursday morning.
Crews needed to extricate Kent from the vehicle, before transporting to him by Starflight to ECMC. There is no word on his condition. His passenger, 47-year-old Elizabeth Lysek,was taken to an area hospital with a head injury.
