Witness: NFTA bus ran over pedestrian

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A bus hit a pedestrian Tuesday, just before 12:30  p.m. at Kenmore and Delaware Avenues.

It appears an NFTA Metro Link bus hit the male victim.  Rural Metro transported the male victim to an area hospital.

Lisa Griffin described, "The gentleman was in the crosswalk and the NFTA Metro Link bus made a left-hand turn into the intersection and ran over the gentleman. He actually hit him. Oh my God, and I jumped out of the car."

Witnesses say people were on the bus at the time of the incident. We do not know the victim's name or condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
