WILLIAMSVILE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Crews were called to the scene of a serious motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in Williamsville.
The accident happened on Youngs Road, in front of Erie Community College North Campus. Officials say 18-year-old Alicia Misiak of Cheektowaga was pulling out of the campus to make a left-hand turn on Youngs Road around 12:15 p.m. and pulled in front of a motorcycle traveling northbound.
The operator, 30-year-old Michael Graham of Lockport, was seriously injured. He was taken to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Misiak was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Investigators are looking into several contributing factors behind the deadly accident, including speed. Amherst Police would like to hear from witnesses at 689-1311.
