BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo will be playing host to Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday. The governor will meet at the Convention Center with the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council, and get an update on projects underway to bring more jobs to the area.
Cuomo is scheduled to arrive in Buffalo Tuesday morning, to meet with members of the Western New York Regional Economic Council. The co chairman thinks the area has what it takes to use the money in a way that will create long-term positive growth.
In August 2011, Howard Zemsky said, “Top notch workforce, leading research and development institutions, a wealth of natural resources, the spirit and determination of our people, and so many assets to build on.”
The governor is looking for advice on how to spend the $1 billion, he pledged to spend over five years to develop job creation projects.
