DEPEW, N.Y (WIVB) - The Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps set up in Depew and outside the Lancaster Walmart to accept nonperishable food items, toiletries, and money.
All of the donations are for the less fortunate to enjoy a better Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps Director of Operations, Greg Jankiewicz says, 'We've had people donate things like baby items, children's items, toys, anything that a family can use. There's so many people in need today, it's a feel good for everyone.
Their goal is to collect at least 3 tons of food and $500 in cash to meet last year's total.
