BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police are investigating a double shooting in the City's busy Chippewa district.

Gun shots rang out on west Chippewa Street near La Luna Nightclub at about 2:30 Saturday morning.

Emergency crews rushed two male victims, who are believed to be in their 20's,to ECMC.

Buffalo Police tell News 4 they're injures are non-life threatening.

UPDATE:

Buffalo police made an arrest in a shooting incident which injured two men on West Chippewa Street and Pearl St. early Saturday morning.

A fight erupted between two groups of males in the vicinity of W. Chippewa and Pearl Streets, and shots were fired by at least two of the participants, shortly after 2 AM.

Police arrested and charged one man in connection with the incident.

Darius Austin, 21, of Rodney Street was identified as one of the gunmen.

He faces numerous charges, including criminal possession of a weapon with the intent to use, reckless endangerment, and two counts of assault in the first degree, as well as possession of marijuana.

Antonio Taylor, 20, of Buffalo was shot in the chest area and is in stable condition at Erie County Medical Center.

Charles Lockwood, 21, also of Buffalo, was treated for a wound to his left leg.

Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives are in charge of this continuing investigation.
