JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Jamestown woman is facing charges after allegedly driving a pick-up truck into a parked vehicle and then attempting to leave.
Jamestown Police say 44-year-old Barbara Swan-Flores was driving a Dodge Dakota pick-up truck Wednesday around 3:51 p.m. on Prendergast Avenue. Swan-Flores’ truck allegedly struck a parked vehicle and then she allegedly attempted to leave the scene, but was boxed in by officers responding to the scene.
Police say there was a 12-year-old passenger in the car with Swan-Flores. She was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired Drugs, which was elevated to a felony because of Leandra’s Law, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Swan-Flores is being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
