One vehicle spun out along the Thruway. Sunday morning, a pick-up truck flipped and landed on its roof, along I-90 West, near Blasdell.
One driver said, "Drive slow, watch out for the rest of the people."
Another driver said, "I have no problems driving from Canada to Buffalo, I love the snow."
Plows were seen driving back and forth almost constantly. They were working to keep Route 5 clear of ice and snow.
Orchard Park Police said the Route 219 was like a skating rink. They spent most of the day responding to accidents.
