BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A tractor trailer driver was taken to ECMC by Mercy Flight, after a roll over crash on I-90 West, near Batavia.
According to state police, the 50-year-old man, from Canada, is said to have non life threatening injuries to the head and face.
At 4 p.m. the tractor trailer rolled over at the Batavia interchange. State Police say the tractor trailer got on the Thruway at Batavia, and was going around the ramps to head westbound.
The tractor trailer rolled onto its left side. Police say possible causes of the crash could be speed or the load inside the tractor trailer shifting.
State Police say the truck was hauling cases of floor tiles on pallets.
