LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Lockport woman is accused of stealing drugs and money from a Ride Aid pharmacy.
State Police say Rite Aid security contacted them about the theft of money, allegedly by an employee. Police say 45-year-old Jeannine LaPaglia voided and altered transactions to steal money. State Police say the investigation also revealed that LaPaglia stole 1,300 hydrocodone pills from the pharmacy over five months.

According to state police, LaPaglia kept the money for herself and gave away the pills. LaPaglia is charged with felony fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and felony fourth-degree grand larceny.
LaPaglia was arraigned and taken to Niagara County Jail on $1,000 bail. She is scheduled to return to court in mid September.
