NIAGARA FALLS, ONT. (WIVB) - Three decades of playing the lottery paid off in a big way this New Year’s for a Niagara Falls, Ontario couple.
Lottie and Stanley Czplicki won $15.5 million in the Lotto 6/49 on a December 29 draw.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that Stanley, who is 83, though he had won $15,000 but the woman standing next to him at the counter pointed out the win was actually $15 million plus.
Stanley is a retired autoworker who bought the ticket at Metro on Montrose Rd.
The couple doesn’t have any plans to move. The reportedly want ot retrofit their house so it is more comfortable for living as seniors.
