KENMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A family of four awoke to flames erupting inside their Keller Avenue home in Kenmore.
Firefighters say the flames broke out around 1 a.m. Saturday. A boy woke up to smoke filling his bedroom, and went to wake the rest of his family. Everyone escaped safely, but two people were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation. One firefighter was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital for a minor laceration.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire, and exactly how much damage it left behind.
