Town of Darien, N.Y. - A 20 year-old Mumford man has died of his injuries after he was hit by a minvan in the Town of Darien Saturday night.
Genesee County Sheriff's Investigators say Casey Parnell of Mumford, N.Y. was standing on the south shoulder of Sumner road when he suddenly entered the roadway in front of a minivan. Parnell was transported by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center.He died of his injuries a few hours later.
The driver of the minivan, 39 year-old Amanda Cline of Homer, N.Y. and her passengers were not injured.Cline has not been charged and investigators do not anticipate any charges.
