Man dies in logging accident

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 36 year old man was killed in a logging accident in the Town of Villenova Thursday.
Chautauqua County officials say the victim, Harvey Detweiler was cutting large pine trees down when a partially rotten tree fell from behind him for an unknown reason. The tree struck the victim and he sustained fatal injuries.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
