BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo firefighters were called to a house fire on Herman St. around 10 a.m. Sunday.
Buffalo Fire Division Chief Don McFeely says there were reports of people trapped inside, but by the time firefighters got there everyone was out of the building.
McFeely says the second floor of the house was pretty badly damaged by the fire and the first floor sustained a lot of water damage.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Damage is estimated between $50,000 - $70,000.
The occupants of the home are all being assisted by the Red Cross.
