First Niagara cuts 30 WNY positions

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - First Niagara Bank has announced that they will layoff 30 local workers this month.
The company says it's part of their restructuring plan across four states. 180 positions are being eliminated in total.
First Niagara says that many of those employees will have the opportunity to move to other locations or positions.
The 30 WNY layoffs will go into effect on October 19th.
