CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's easier than ever to make sure your old documents don't get into the wrong hands.

Saturday the First Niagara Bank, the Sabres, Shred-It and Sunnking held a "Shredding and E-Cycle Day" at First Niagara Bank branches in Cheektowaga and Clarence. The companies offered recycling of old electronics, including wiping away any data that could contain your account numbers or other personal information.

"This was a great way to get rid of some electronics that we were accumulating in our basement without having to put them on the curb and this is a great way to recycle and save the environment," says Holly Kerwin.

Sabres fans who brought in documents or old electronics even recieved a discount coupon good at the Sabres Store at the First Niagara Center.
