LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - Several former Buffalo Bills players signed autographs today at Eddie Ryan's Restaurant in Lancaster during Sunday's game for a good cause.

Fans paid $25 to eat and mingle, and tackle the terrible Alzheimer's disease.

Former Buffalo Bill from 1979-84, Jeff Nixon attended the event and said, "We just want to raise money for information and research because I think in the next 10 years, we are going to go through major strides in either curing it or finding some type of therapies that can really help the people that have the disease."

More than 55-thousand people in Western New York are living with Alzheimer's.

Proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association.
