KENMORE, NY (WIVB) - A 44-year veteran of the force and former chief of the Kenmore Police, Carl J. LaCorte, has died.
LaCorte just retired this past November and was recently interviewed by Channel 4 News Anchor Jacquie Walker on that occasion.
LaCorte died Wednesday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was 66 years old.
Mr. LaCorte started his career as a patrolman with Kenmore police in 1968 and was promoted to chief in July, 2006.
