BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Funeral services are scheduled this weekend for the Buffalo hospital employee who was fatally shot at work, prompting a nationwide search for her surgeon ex-boyfriend who's wanted for questioning in her slaying.
A Mass will be held Saturday morning at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo for 33-year-old Jacqueline Wisniewski.
Authorities say the single mother was shot four times Wednesday morning inside the stairwell of a building at the Erie County Medical Center, where she worked as an administrative assistant.
Police are seeking Timothy Jorden, a 49-year-old trauma surgeon at the hospital, as a person of interest in the investigation. Jorden is a former Army weapons specialist who's considered armed and dangerous.
