FORT ERIE, ONT. - The future is looking bright for the Point Abino Lighthouse in Fort Erie, Ontario.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that the town council approved further restoration for the historic landmark after initial work came in under budget.
The council also heard tht the lighthouse keeper's dwelling will be purchased by a private party for $450,000.
The project also receives funding from a $425,000 federal grant and $156,598 from a reserve fund for the light station.
