GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Grand Island Holiday Inn is getting ready to be sold by auction.
The hotel resort and conference center had been undergoing financial problems and was taken over by a bank in early 2011. Since then the facility has had more than $1 million in capital improvements.
The Grand Island Holiday Inn is on 12 acres of land right along the Niagara River. It is seven stories high and has 263 rooms.
Blackbird Asset Services LLC and AmeriBid LLC will auction the hotel on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11 a.m.
