NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - There is a new store now open, selling discounted second-hand items. Monday morning, the ribbon was cut outside the new Goodwill store in North Tonawanda.
The more than 8,000 square foot facility is packed with men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, as well as home decor.
Goodwill Industries President and CEO Tom Lynch said, "You know, it's a tough economy. I think people are looking for great deals. This is great brand name merchandise and we've got it at an unbelievable good price."
The company also provides job training and employment programs to those with disabilities. This is the second Goodwill store in Niagara County. They also plan to open another store in Batavia at the end of next month.
