BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 20-year-old Grand Island woman will face a judge Wednesday, to face charges of defrauding her own grandmother out of $25,000.
Kali Zalkiewicz is accused of opening up two credit cards by using her grandmother's name and personal information without her knowledge or permission. One of her charges was a $6,500 down payment for a car.
Earlier this month, the woman's grandmother said , "I hope she learns her lesson; I don't want to see her go to jail. But I do want to see her accept responsibility for what she's done and hopefully we can mend our relationship."
