BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - While most people spent their day shoveling snow from their driveway, a group of do-gooders in Buffalo helped clear their neighbors sidewalks in a fun way.
They cleared the sidewalks in a flashmob style. It's something Seamus Gallivan and his group, "The Good Neighborhood," wanted to do this last winter, but there wasn't enough snow accumulation. However, that wasn't the case for this season.
Gallivan, who loves the snow and shoveling, thinks the event is fun and a good thing to do for neighbors.
He put the call on Facebook and a handful of volunteers met on Lafayette and Grant with their shovels ready to help.
Those who helped didn't think much of it, but rather saw it as fun, and something that was especially needed in some neighborhoods.
They plan to put out another call in the next couple days and hope to get more volunteers.
Check out the "The Good Neighborhood," website if you want to follow them and volunteer for their next good deed.
