NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Did you know, more than 1.5 million women are physically assaulted by an intimate partner every year in the US?
That's just one of the startling statistics coming to light as part of National Domestic Violence Awareness month, which begins Monday.
Monday evening, Child and Family Services' Haven House will be holding a press conference, before lighting Niagara Falls violet in an effort to end the violence.
