LEROY, N.Y(WIVB) - It's a race to the finish line as Rep. Kathy Hochul and Congressional Candidate Chris Collins wrap up their election for New York's 27th Congressional District.
Both candidates spent the day touring the rural communities of Genesee, Livingston, and Wyoming Counties and talking to some of the constituents who are brand new to the redrawn 27 Congressional District.
The race being so close and ending so soon, makes it crucial for them to reach out to the undecided voters.
"I'm asking for their vote to bring common sense solutions to Washington, to get this country going in a direction of growing our way to prosperity, not borrowing, taxing, and spending our way to prosperity, that just doesn't work, said Congressional Candidate Collins.
Hochul says, "We've spent a lot of time meeting people in their hometowns and small villages and all over this district, it's been fantastic. They know I'm very independent regardless who they vote for, for president, I'll work for whoever is in the White House."
Siena College released its third and final poll in this race Sunday morning.

The race continues to remain neck in neck.
