BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Hockey is for everyone this weekend in Buffalo.
Hasek's Heroes is hosting the Third Annual Willie O'Ree Skills weekend.
More than 45 kids from youth hockey leagues are sharpening their skills with hands on drills and lessons.
The event is sponsored by the NHL and the Buffalo Sabres.
News 4 caught up with former hockey star Willie O'Ree who helps organize the program.
O'Ree broke the NHL's color barrier when he suited up for the Boston Bruins in 1958.
He's currently Director of the League's Diversity Program.
