Horsing around at Hamburg Fairgrounds

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Hamburg Fairgrounds is "horsing around" Sunday at a special event calling on all equestrian lovers to attend.

The 2013 WNY Equifest, sponsored by the Western Chapter of the New York State Horse Council kicked off this morning at the Showplex Arena featuring family-friendly fun.

Some of the area's top clinicians and trainers will be on hand in the rings for others to see spectacular horsemanship up close and personal.

Over 100 vendors with horse merchandise will be available along with pony themed games to participate in.

Refreshments will be offered during the free event that goes until 5 p.m. tonight.
