BUFFALO, N.Y (WIVB) - Flames erupted just before one in the morning on Saturday on the first floor of a house on Tonawanda Street near Riverside Avenue.

The fire spread to the second floor rather quickly. The firefighters spent about 20 minutes searching the home for anyone left inside. We're told that everyone made it out safely.

Damage is estimated at more than 125-thousand dollars. The cause is under investigation.
