BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The tradition continued today of the Knights of Columbus in North Buffalo collecting toys for needy children.
They have kept the tradition alive for 15 years now and are still going strong with the good cause.
The party for charity as they called it was held this afternoon at the Knight's Post on Kenmore Avenue in Buffalo.
To get in, people needed to bring an unwrapped toy. They then were able to get food and had a chance at the raffles to support the Kenmore Fire Department that also distributes toys.
Thomas Cefalu, Coordinating Committee Chairman says, "My brother-in-law, Mike Archambeau and I were sitting down and wanted to do something nice for the community. We have a lot of friends who like to have parties, and we decided to have an annual Bills party and this is our 15th year doing it."
