ROCHESTER, NY (WIVB) - Kodak is shuttering its photo business, selling more than 100,000 of the yellow photo kiosks which were once common in stores around the world.
Along with the kiosks the company is closing its professional and consumer camera film operation by September 30.
It’s a monumental change for the company that started rolling out film in 1885.
Kodak filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January and since then has shed hundreds of jobs as well as other photo related operations.
