Lightning strikes transmission tower

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Western New Yorkers heard thunder and saw lightning overnight, around western New York.
While News 4 crews were busy preparing our morning shows, lightning struck our transmission tower, right outside our studios.
The strike didn’t cause any damage.
