WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB) - A North Buffalo father will take his crusade against prescription pill abuse to Capitol Hill Wednesday. Avi Israel will be testifying at a Senate hearing about the issue.

He lost his son Michael to prescription abuse and became the driving force behind New York's new I-Stop law, which lets pharmacies and doctors better communicate to stop the abuse.

He's now working with others to get similar laws across the nation.
