BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Today, hundreds of power train workers and their neighbors made their way to Downtown Buffalo for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5-K Walk.

Gretchen Leffler, the Regional Vice President for the American Cancer Society for WNY says, "The money supports all of our research on breast cancer as well as our programs and services for breast cancer patients and community education and early detection and prevention."

Nearly ten thousand people took part in the event this year raising 650-thousand dollars for breast cancer research and prevention.
