Man admits to five armed robberies

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says a Buffalo man pleaded guilty in connection to five separate armed robberies that occurred in November of last year.

Bedgood admitted to armed robberies at The Family Dollar on Jefferson Avenue and the Subway on William Street. He also admitted armed robberies at the Rite Aid Pharmacies on William Street, Niagara Street and Elmwood Avenue.

Bedgood pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery. He faces a maximum prison sentence of 50 years when he is sentenced in April.
