Man charged with fatal shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police have arrested a man, in connection with a fatal shooting Wednesday night on Briscoe Avenue, near Walden Avenue.

Police say 29-year-old Wayne P. Vance shot 30-year-old Frederick Gelsey Jr, just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Detectives arrested and charged Vance with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest.
