POMFRET, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Fredonia man was taken into custody Saturday just before midnight after being involved in an accident.
Sheriff’s deputies and Fredonia Police investigated the accident in the Penski Trucking parking lot that revealed Robert Mooney, 23, hit a parked semi-trailer.
Mooney fled the scene but was found a short distance away from the accident. He had no injuries as a result of the crash however his car suffered heavy damages.
He was taken into custody and is due to appear in Pomfret Court on a later date.
