JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Jamestown man was arraigned in Chautauqua County Court Monday, after a grand jury recently indicted him on eight counts of crimes against children.

Jason R. Alexander, 30, allegedly committed sex crimes over a period of approximately ten months.

Alexander is charged with two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, two counts of first-degree sexual conduct against a child, second-degree sexual conduct against a child and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Alexander was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $200,000 cash or $400,000 property bond.
