BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Amherst Councilman, who was accused of spitting on his step-children’s grandmother, was given an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal (ACD) in court on Monday.
Richard Anderson was charged with harassment for allegedly spitting at the 71-year-old woman while leaving an event at Nichols School last month.
A judge granted Anderson an ACD on Monday. An ACD is not an admission of guilty. It means if Anderson stays out of trouble, the case will be dismissed after six months.
