Men accused of shoplifting at Walmart

ALLEGANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say they made two arrests after a three-month investigation into shoplifting at Walmart in the Town of Allegany.

Troopers say they arrested 26-year-old Anthony P. Vavrecan, of Ischua, and 23-year-old Sean M. Galmer, of Olean. According to police, they were arrested on warrants of petit larceny.

Galmer was arraigned in City of Olean Court and was taken to Cattaraugus County Jail, in lieu of $1,000 bail. Vavrecan was arraigned in Village of Allegany County Court and was released, he will reappear in court later this month.
