BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - An overnight fire sent a family out into the cold and wind, early Thursday morning. Buffalo Firefighters were originally called in to battle a house fire on Montclair Avenue, around 2 a.m.
Firefighters had to head back to the scene a short time later when the fire rekindled, causing more damage.
The fire apparently first started in the kitchen and caused $75,000 in damage. With the fire restarting, damages are now closer to $100,000.
Red Cross spokesman Jay Bonafede says the organization is providing assistance to two adults and four children.
