JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Jamestown Police say two men are facing charges after allegedly riding their mopeds in a park after close, and then refusing to stop. The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. Thursday at Bergman Park.
The Jamestown Police K9 unit was the park when they say they saw 23-year-old James Marucci, of Falconer, and 23-year-old Bradley Woodward, of Jamestown, enter the park. Police say they attempted to stop them, but they refused and left the park. Shortly after, police were able to stop the mopeds on Baker Street.
Marucci and Woodward were taken into custody and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, local law observation of rules and regulations and driving out of class. They were transported to city jail in lieu of bail.
