Morning crash claims one life

BOSTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 40-year-old woman is dead following a crash on Route 391 in the Town of Boston Tuesday morning.

The crash closed Boston State Road from Route 219 to Route 277. Troopers say Connie Gabel of Boston crossed the southbound lane of traffic and left the roadway, hitting a tree head-in. Gabel was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone traveling on the roadway around 8 a.m. who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call police at 941-9303.
