Morning disturbance on local bike path

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - After an unusual appearance by a man on the Amherst bike path Sunday morning around 10a.m, Police at University at Buffalo are advising the public to be aware.

Officers say a woman was jogging when a white man in his 40's approached her and made comments that made her feel unsafe.

The man left the area in a red van with a white stripe along the bottom.

Anyone with information should call the Campus Police at 645-2227 or anonymously at www.upolice.buffalo.edu .
