WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A ride through Williamsville is paying tribute to a young veteran killed in the war on terror.
A motorcycle ride was held in memory of Jonathon Cote.
He was working as a security contractor in Iraq when insurgents kidnapped him and four co-workers back in 2006.
His body was later recovered.
Sunday's fundraiser will support an annual scholarship awarded to a selected student at Williamsville North High School.
