ST. CATHARINES, O.N. (WIVB) - A motorcycle crash in St. Catharines, Ontario, claimed a life Monday night.
A 25-year-old man, from St. Catharines, was riding his 2010 Kawasaki motorcycle around 10:20 p.m. Monday, when he lost control, entered oncoming traffic and struck a Kia van. The van was driven by a 47-year-old man, also from St. Catharines.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the van was taken to the hospital, and released.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact detectives at (905) 688-4111, extension 5500.
