WEBSTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - The investigation continues, into the Christmas Eve tragedy in Webster, New York. A community became a crime scene Monday morning, and is now being opened back up to the people who live there.

A neighbor, who News 4 spoke with, is recounting being evacuated Monday morning.
Lake Road resident Fran Beth said, “They they’re banging on my door, I wasn’t dressed or nothing, I just threw on some clothes, I got my slippers, no coat, I go to the door, he says get in the truck, get in the truck. My neighbors were in there, they checked out the area, then we went down and picked up to more neighbors.”
Seven homes burned down to the ground in Webster. Beth told us, her home wasn’t damaged but her next door neighbor’s home was partially burned.
