NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Aspiring chefs have a new place to sharpen their culinary skills in the Cataract City.

The official ribbon cutting of the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute took place Friday morning. The 90,000 square-foot school is located in the former Rainbow Mall.

The state-of-the-art institute features several top-of-the-line kitchens and laboratories. There’s also a student-run restaurant, pastry shop and deli.
